Santa Cruz this WEEKEND!

Yay I am so excited to go to SanFran and Santa Cruz with my favorite person this weekend! Nineties party... sill not entirely sure what to be. Im kind of thinking Garth from Wayne's World. But I am just so excited to go out of town for the weekend. 24 hours and I am out!!!

Happy

There is no other way to describe the mood I am in besides "happy". It is so nice to be simply happy right now. Lately I have been surrounding myself with amazing people and I almost feel cleansed of any spiritual toxins. Haha, that makes like zero sense but I like it. ALSO, I haven't had internet so I don't think I have been able to rave about how amazing "A Single Man" was! Colin Firth now has my utmost respect and I am absolutely dying for Tom Ford to do another movie. There is just no way to give it justice via a blog but trust me, it was the best three dollars I have ever spent.

No Internet!

I am currently living in the Dark Ages with no internet at my house. So right now I am sitting at a common area on campus making a power point presentation on the Erethizon Dorsatum, more commonly known as the North American Porcupine.

Saki Bombing

I'm going Saki Bombing for the first time tonight. I am so excited! Not sure what to expect but you can not go wrong with a Chinese restaurant serving Saki...right?

Current Obsessions

This week i have become aware of a website called grooveshark and i have been listening to non-stop MJ, Prince, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Queen, MGMT... just to name a few of my FAVORITE artists.

ALSO i am now completely enthralled with the show Queer as Folk (US version). I thought my life ended when The L Word did... but Queer as Folk should keep me sane for at least a month.

Im going to see the movie Precious tonight... not sure what exactly to expect but i am excited.

Survived Valentines Day... AND enjoyed it?

With the help of amazing friends and copious amounts of wine I had the best valentines day I have ever had:

made frozen pizza

listened to tom petty

playing thumper, wtf, and never have i ever

toured our lovely town

drank wine from a nice bottle... then wine from a bag

told stories of losing our V-cards

laughed and cried

BUT most importantly i realized it is just as great to spend Valentines day with people you love when you are single.

Singles Awareness Day

This movie was... pretty good. I especially enjoyed the gay couple and the Pretty Women reference. I did not however enjoy the multitude of couples viewing the movie while kayla and i cried in the front row. ALSO I LOVE TOPHER GRACE!
